When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers through Supabase.

User Content
If you use the writing feature, you may submit text for feedback. This content is processed only to provide feedback and improve the feature. It is not used for advertising.

Audio Permission
The app may request access to the device microphone. Microphone access is only used for app functionality and is not recorded or stored without user interaction.

Subscription Information
If you purchase a premium subscription, payment processing is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide language-learning features
• Authenticate users
• Enforce free and premium access
• Generate writing feedback using AI services
• Maintain app functionality and security

3. Third-Party Services

LingaPlus uses third-party services including:

• Supabase (authentication, database, backend logic)
• OpenAI API (AI-generated writing feedback)
• Google Play and Apple App Store (subscriptions)

User-submitted text may be sent securely to OpenAI solely to generate feedback. We do not use submitted content to identify users or for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect user data. Premium access and AI usage are enforced server-side.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Users may request account deletion.

6. Children’s Privacy

LingaPlus is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
